Better Business for All

By consumersavvy

This kid was getting brutally picked on just because he was a little different than the others. Looking back I think he may have been mildly retarded. He wasn’t bothering anybody, just sitting quietly on the floor, Indian style, listening to the teacher read a story. The reason I know this is because I was there beside him. I didn’t know him, but I felt the need to be near him on the floor. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore and I stood up for the kid and made the bullies stop. That night, as my mother held me in her arms, I cried uncontrollably, you know the kind with the short gasps for air. I couldn’t understand why my new friend was getting picked on so much. He wasn’t bothering anyone, he wasn’t, or couldn’t, even defend himself.

That was 41 years ago and I can still see my helpless friend’s face. It was then, at the age of 3 years old, that I knew God had put me on this earth to fight for the underdog. To help those in need. To empower people, not only with knowledge, but how to apply the knowledge.

I’ve been fighting ever since for those who’ve been cheated, lied to, or ripped off.
Those who’ve been put on and put out.

I’ve hosted a syndicated radio talk show.
I’ve been interviewed on television.
I’ve been quoted on the net and national magazine articles.
I’ve shut down major corporations.
I’ve helped people get back money they thought they would never see.

This blog is for you if you want to be an informed consumer.
This blog is for you if you need a place to turn for help on consumer issues.
This blog is for you if you’ve reached a dead-end on getting any customer service.
This blog is for you if you’re tired of not being listened to.
